  • How long ago was the BT done? Did you give Natwest the correct account numbers?

so now im just waiting for a letter from natwest confirming they did BT over to cap on on the same day

but in the mean time like i say they have sent a letter saying theres bankcharges for non payment and interest !!

Capital One has excellent online services now. If you register your details on the website, you can monitor your account more closely.

You should always continue making the minimum payments to your old provider until a balance transfer request has been carried out, otherwise your credit rating may be damaged.

An horrendous story involving CapOne was posted to this forum last year. This was an extreme case. Incompetence on this scale is fortunately rare but, from feedback here, these BT issues are seldom resolved quickly.
