Sammy, that explains why your tips help me, I've got ME/CFS/whatever they're calling it this week.
sister and ex both taking the mickey today, so I'm just going to curl up with a book and have a day off, I did more than enough yesterday.
Becky, that's a bit crap, hope you get somewhere with trading standards.
Maz, glad things are going well.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Well I havent used mine either but I want to buy a new one and I am not paying to use the internet if they tell me its unlimited0

Ames, my mum has ME - she caught flu years ago and never went back to work...this was the woman who raised me singlehandedly whilst renovating old houses, working during the day in a school and working as a singer at night.
She does tell me not to do too much and when the doctor tried to tell me I had chronic fatigue I refused to listen for ages. I hated being told that, hated it...you just feel that people think you are being lazy and judging you.
I still have periods where I am exhausted but I can recognise them now and I just tend to go with the flow...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

:rotfl: Yep, will be on my best behaviour with him. Just DVD and coffee and chat.
Oh god, this is going to be very hard... _pale_
Squizz - not altogether well, no. We had a lovely couple of weeks where we got on really well, had lots of fun, and it all seemed to be great. Then he went really distant, partly because he was having a stressful time, partly because he was struggling to get his head around dating.
I tried to end things with him - said I didn't think there was room for me in his life and that I was going to back off. He asked me not to, but then decided he would like us to stop having an 'intimate' relationship and get to know each other as friends first.
So I'm left wondering if it's all an elaborate way of saying 'you're dumped', or if he's serious and wants to get to know me properly because he thinks there could be something more long term going on.
I am giving him the benefit of the doubt but only in the short term and I'm ready to walk away if I get the slightest hint he's leading me on."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Oh I agree about the lazy thing, that's my major problem with ex, he uses that as an excuse not to help me with housework, I could do it if I wasn't so lazy. I'm sorry to hear your mum's got it too. It's so difficult to get the balance right, even after having it for 13 years I get it wrong a lot of the time.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Good morning. :hello:
Just had breakfast - fresh fruit and yoghurt - how good am I!
Friend has gone off to work for a few hours and them we will be down by the pool again. Need to clean up the kitchen.
BB - hope you feel better soon.
Sammy - where did you lay the new floor?
Snaggs - don't do anything I wouldn't do!
I love the timer idea.0 -

Hiya Bookie! sounds like you're having a lovely time!
Chance would be a fine thing hun, I doubt I will even be doing anything a nun wouldn't do.
I am not cut out for this kind of thing! :rotfl: I like simple and straightforward. Feels a bit like he's squeezing all the joy and excitement out of getting to know someone new, because he's scared to take a risk, and I'm not sure I can cope with it, but we'll see. He's a nice enough person for me to want to persevere for now."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
