Yikes, that's a big grid _pale_, but as you have no option but to pay your mortgage off you might as well have some fun along the way
(ok, so filling in square may not be that much fun, but hey, it's free
).
I have a grid of 'only' 164 squares, so far I've gone up the steps and done the 1st course of bricks, now on 2nd course
Look forward to following your progress :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

CONGRATS!
I was interested in making a house just like you and others have done. How did you do it? Did you take an actual photo of your house and just draw in boxes? Is there a link to a good site that will automatically do it? Do you guys just use a generic house/box picutre?Mortgage 2006: $265K

Good luck, MamaSaver, I know it seems like a mamouth task at the moment but you will be suprised how quick those bricks get coloured in!
......mutters away to herself......not fair I want bricks to colour in too, but do not have the brain power to work out how (other than get a crayon and do the real bricks outside!!)MFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -

[STRIKE]I wrote a piece of software which turns a photo into an interactive document [/STRIKE] I made an excel house and coloured it in on the PC, I have numbered it from the top down and fill in the date from the bottom up when I pay off a £1000 :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Well I didn't want nosey neighbours looking at me taking a photo of my house from across the road, so I dug out the estate agent's brochure that was used to market the house when we bought it. Then I scanned it in, printed it off and figured out how many squares across and how many down, then with a pencil and ruler, I drew the grid over the picture. I know it's basic, but I wanted in on paper so I can look at it any time. It's hung inside the door of the cupboard which holds the dinner plates. This means that when we order takeaway I can feel the guilt0
