Made my first OP of 1,000/400,000

Yeeehaaa. Made my first OP today. I made up a grid of our house, as advised by a post I read here months ago. Each square in the grid represents 1,000 paid off our capital. So there are 400 squares and one is coloured in. Only 399 left to go...... :rotfl: Every little helps

I did something similar when I made my first big payment. Told myself it represented "so much space" and I "moved" that space around with me so I was always using MY bit of floor that I owned. Probably sounds silly, but now I own it all so probably not so silly as it worked for me. Good luck buying up your other squares. :)

Wow! Thanks everyone for the encouragement! I wasn't expecting that response. I have to say, I'm not sure if the grid is motivational or not. The more I look at it, the more I think I'll never get through it all. Especially when the square I have coloured is even part of the sky in the picture. He he he, but at least I own the air space above. Thank you so much, it's good to have you guys to help me along the way. Cheers, MamaSaver
