Best place for £200k savings

When we sell our house we will have approx £200k in cash that won't be needed for 2 years.
Given that we should only keep £50k in each bank institution, what does the forum suggest is the best place to stash our cash?
We have already used our ISA allocations (cash & stocks & shares) and have some other investments, 2 year bonds, 6 year bonds etc. but can't make up our minds as to where to go next.
Not the most stressful decision to have to make but would appreciate any advice
