Hi Guys,
I recently sold an item and the winner lives in Jersey. My postage only stated UK and i'm unsure as to whether this is classed as UK or it is overseas. Looking at the Royal Mail its overseas but dont know if it makes it more expensive.
What should i do?
Thanks

If it's standard mail the price is the same (I think with the exception of standard parcels). Courier rates (including Parcelforce) are a lot higher..0

I'm sure your entitled to ask for more postage as Jersey is not in the UK
If it costs you more to send then ask the buyer for more money, they should know they'd probably have to pay more, it won't be a new situation for them0 -
Standard Royal Mail prices are the same for the Channel Islands as within the UK. Its covered by the normal domestic postal system although standard parcels is not available as a service for the C.I. You will need a customs label affixed as its technically outside of the EU for VAT purposes. More details here.
If its a heavy item courier prices are much higher to C.I.0 -
worked out the same cost, just had to add the customs label. Hopefully will receive in one piece.
Thanks for your help0
