Strike - Wednesday?

Does anyone know if the proposed strike of local authority workers is going ahead on Wednesday? DD has asked if she can go and stay with a friend. Wanted to be sure it is happening before I agree to the day off school.

As a UNISON member I recieved the following by email last week
UNISON has today agreed to recommend suspending planned industrial action over pensions after the joint unions agreed a basis for further talks with employers.dont confuse me with facts I need to think here!!!!0 -
DD and friend not best pleased. Think they were keen to be off after the strain of being back for one day :rolleyes:0

I'm with GMB and we've been told we're not striking either its been put on hold for now as theres some negotiations or something going on.0
