Frodders - the black slopes are for people who are able to complete Pigpen's lists, they will get stars as normal for completing all three levels. The nursery slopes are for people who will choose 5 items they wish to complete per day - they will post a list of 5 things to do the night before or in the morning and if they complete them they will get a heart. And then they will post another different list for the next day and so on. Like with the normal Pigpen lists they will be allowed to roll over the lists, but must have different lists each day. So say for example I complete something for my Monday list on Friday I will still get a heart for Monday. The idea is that for people like me who can't do Pigpen's lists, we still get rewarded for doing something but something which we feel is more acheivable (sp?). HTH

    Welcome Bitzy

Natty I’m so glad that DH got his finger out and took you to get Tamiflu and also got you flowers yesterday.

I’m realising more and more what a treasure I have in my DH – even tho he doesn’t do “romantic gestures” he is good when I’m ill (which lets face it seems to be all the time). He really looks after me. He's getting better with the old romantic stuff too - he even told me this morning that I’m gorgeous and he really meant it and wasn’t prompted – aww! I was deeply touched. And yesterday he spontaneously gave me a kiss and a hug and he had to walk across the whole room to do so. This is the first time this has ever happened! I was really chuffed!

eta: off to bed now night night xx

Yes, but hearts are for the Weekly Challenge that pigpen posts on the first post aren't they :confused::confused: I don't get this bit about posting 5 of your own things for a heart - maybe it's just me :o

  • Rosepink - I am sorry that you are still feeling poorly - I must admit that I could have done with another few days off as I was knackered yesterday after a 3 day week..... But i couldn't as I amon leave not this week but next and have to get my case work up to date before I go. Did you take Tamiflu? It did seem to help mine to pass quicker although I still felt rough at the time. Best thing would be to rest and chill - take your vitamins, minerals and 3-6-9 oils - if you are not eating well these will be even more important. My eczema/asthma had also come back since SF - very itchy and wheezy - but then again that could be fromall the dust I have kicked up by decluttering stuff that has sat there for months....:o

Hugs to Natty and Rose - hope you feel better tomorrow....

Good luck Jo with all of your visits - lots of info to take in - can you take a note book to write important bits down - I know I would forget something with so many places to go.

Oh nearly forgot - Pigpen - Plurlease can I join tooooooooo....:xmastree: i am not on the list.....:D

We might let you join us if you're good ;)

Aah, but I'm not at work for nearly 6 weeks ;) :j :D:p

    Bitsy - welcome

I'll check in the morning to see what to do about the hearts stuff. I think I'll probably just stick with my normal list but make it 5-a-day (but just Mon - Fri) as it's the holidays.

    Night all, sleep well xx

  • woooo -- go me - I will for the first time complete a daily challenge.......

Ok -if i do actually take the chairty stuff to the shop tomorrow....

DS arrived home a little while ago so I got him to bring the 2 boxes from the car - put a bag of rubbish in the bin and collect the Dyson from the back seat.

He also took out 2 large rubbish bags filled with charity stuff and........ 3 tesco carrier bags also full.......

I am really chuffed with what i have done to today - I have also packed those clothes that I am going to try to sell for Mum and Dad in the newly cleared shelves in the built in cupboard. However LR actually looks worse now - even worse than if we had been burgled - it is dire :o I am too ashamed to photograph it ..:o

    Right list for Magnificent Monday:
    1. collect Prescription from GP - (hope Armour arrives from America as I am almost out)
    2. find out what info is needed for WFTC claim
    3. find the necessary info
    4. 10 mins weeding in the garden - this should be a stress buster for me
    5. HHDeclutter in LR - this may well be a daily thing until it looks like a room again rather than someone's skip
    extras

I am going to try for level 1 on the big list - I usually have a bit more energy at the start of the week.
Also need to go over Personal Statement with DS as teacher has sent back comments - I would like this to be sent this week.
I also need to keep on opening 10 items of post a day - a much neglected thing recently - which is so so bad....

Frodders i think ( someone correct me if i'm wrong) if you do all 3 levels on Pigpens list you get a star as usual. The list 5 items thing on Pigpens list is to list 5 items on Ebay for which you will get a heart. The nursery slope list is where you choose your own 5 housework related jobs to do each day instead of Pigpens list. For doing 5 a day you also get a heart.

That's what I understood too... it's a great idea for people who simply can't get the full list done (which is frequently me if work is busy), or for those who are just trying to build the habit of flying and starting with a realistic target.

Right... I really am off to bed now... it's just that I keep finding more items of clothing to add to the sorting out pile :o I might even end up with space in my wardrobe & drawers if I'm not careful
