Paypal - Limited Access Email

Hi All

I am looking for any input regarding an email I received from Paypal (supposedly).

The email looks like it came from [EMAIL="service@paypal.com"]service@paypal.com[/EMAIL] and states that my account now has limited access due to unauthorised use of a credit card. There is an email id number: PP-***-***-***. It does look legit.

I haven't clicked on any of the links but when I log into my Paypal account I can see nothing of the limitation?

The website mentioned within the email and telling me to log in via is paypal.com/row?

I have emailed Paypal but have yet to get a reply.

Any thoughts?

If your account says nothing its probably a phishing one. Paypal ones normaly use your name. Forward it to spoof@paypal.com

i got one of these recently, only mine was due to 'unauthorized access by a third party'.

i did log into my paypal account and sure enough, they had slapped a limit on it. had to change my password and other details. the thing that bothered me was the time it took to lift the limit on my account. nearly a month! they only moved when i sent them a shouty email!
