in Credit cards
I am a new user so please bear with me. I bought tickets for a concert which I was to attend with my son last night Sat 25th July along with 2 other friends. I had bought the tickets via ticketmaster and paid by credit card. It was my own fault for not checking but the tickets were actually for the FRIDAY NIGHT CONCERT and I had to take my son home and he was duly disappointed. As I said, I know this is all my fault and how stupid I have been but is there any way of claiming the money back either through Ticketmaster or via my credit card insurance. I would appreciate any repies at all. It cost me £400.00 and it would definitely come in handy when our new child comes along on the 4th September.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sorry but the answer has to be no.
It was your fault that you went on the wrong night - you have no claim against Ticketmaster or your credit card provider.0 -
!!!!!!?! "I've gone to wrong concert, please someone give my money back"
Sorry to be harsh, but why should anyone else pick up the tab for your own (acknoweldged) error?0 -

If you actually bought tickets for the Saturday night (which would show in any receipt you got from ticketmaster), but were sent ones for the Friday, then you might have a case, but if you actually requested ones for the Friday then I'm afraid you'll just have to chalk it up to (a very expensive) experience.0

unfortuantly meehall you have no chance
this is ticketmaster were talking about i.e. one of the worst customer service companies in the UK
they won't give money back even when they admit they made a balls up of tickets ....so you have no chnace in a situation like this
..............
keep checking your statements though as ticketmaster may still take more money from your bank account for no reason0
