What are you most paranoid about the big day?

Eeek, loads of fears!
Falling flat on my a*se at some point!
People being !!!!!y/people not enjoying the day/people getting on ok
That dress etc looks ok
That flower girls don't do anything too terrible!
That the church doesn't burn down (lol, latest wedding fear-induced dream last week!)
Still really looking forward to it despite all of that though! Some people create their own storms....then get upset when it rains!0 -
At least I'm not the only one worried about my hair then!
Rain is something we cant help so there is nothing we can do to be worry in advance about it!
I'm also I'll be poorly on the day cos I have a sensitive stomach! This is a new paranoia since i even posted yesterday...I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

Family...Mum and Dad are divorced, brother hasnt spoken to Mum since the divorce started and sister and Mum are just about on speaking terms....not looking forward to any fireworks, tho they have all "been warned" LOLKent Bird!:beer:0

My biggest paranoia is spilling red wine down my dress at the meal and having to greet all the evening guests looking like an extra from a horror slasher movie lol!! I think I better get a bib!!0

Like a lot of girlies - my hair not being right. I had a trial and it looked terrible once we'd taken a pic (but fine in the mirror - weird)
The fear that's plagued me since the beginning though is that no one will dance at the reception. We went to a wedding recently, where by 10pm, the only people left in the room were me and OH, the Bride and groom. I nearly wept for them! I gave the bride 2 choices. Go and have the wedding night she should haveor we'd but another bottle of champagne and dance like there was no tomorrow. She went to bed
SK xAfter 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j
And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!0 -
JayJay - sorry I know it isnt funny but I couldn't help but choke on my coffee when I read that, I now have a very amusing image in my head!!!
i laughed in her face when she told me lol. Although it wouldn't be funny if something like that were to happen at the wedding. I like his dad's gf a lot more than i like his mum.
She humiliated me at one of the venues we went to view as my OH was talking about his dad and she stormed out!0 -
I think you may have one big regret - being so worried about what might go wrong that you forget to enjoy it!
All brides look fabulous (even if their hair doesn't go "just right"). Twenty years on the photos of most weddings are quite funny because the clothes and hairstyles have dated (I'm wearing fabulously dated glasses and my DH has long hair in a ponytail in ours!). Forty years on, everyone looks great again.
Take a look at http://www.vam.ac.uk/things-to-do/wedding-fashion/home. It's an archive of wedding photos (focusing on fashion) from 1840 to now.
Just try to enjoy your wedding day.

I'm worried that it will rain...am getting married in The Cloisters in Sorrento which is outdoors. Everyone will have paid lots of pennies to share the holiday/wedding with us and will be expecting sunshine! Ahhh well....
Am also worried about spilling pasta sauce down my dress as am going to a traditional Italian restaurant afterwards.:smileyheaGot married in beautiful Sorrento 11th May 2010:smileyhea0 -
In the week before my wedding I was completely paranoid about getting ill and missing it! I was convinced I had conjunctivitis and was putting loads of drops in my eyes but there was nothing wrong with me!
I tried to stay chilled but then had a massive disaster when my cake turned up melted and squished to one side of the box!! Just had to laugh about it though and enjoy the day!Total for 2009: L'Oreal Lip Duo, Diary, Motability Guide
Thanks to everyone who post comps - you are all :cool2:0 -
I was really worried about crying and also about divorced parents getting over emotional.
Turns out I wasted a lot of energy on all that worrying and didn't need to, I wish I'd known that! But you can't, to get over the crying thing I just prepared as much as possible with tissues under my chair, bridesmaids on standby to clean my face up and minimising stressful situations.Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!
