Can't see this elsewhere on the site (but I apologise if anybody else has posted this tip). The Early Learning Centre (ELC) have a birthday club which sends e-mail reminders for children's birthdays. The neat thing is that when you enter not only your own child's details but all of the children of your friends and family, then then send you a 10% discount code (before each birthday) which can be used by phone or on-line. There is also a voucher you can print off. I have never had to pay full price for ELC items since. In addition they often send 20% discount codes for special times of the year like Christmas and Easter. The last one I had was 20% off their entire range rather than just art or crafts etc. They also post out vouchers and I have had free CDs (which are good for keeping the childs quiet on long journeys) and sticker packs.
If you spend a lot at ELC or have a lot of young children to buy for this is a great way of getting a discount probably all year round.
