    cheers
surely a 70 to 75k mortgage should be easy enough?

Ok, you said you would rent if it wasn't for the animals so I didn't realise buying this particular house was so important. No-one on here can tell you who will offer you the mortgage you need, as no-one knows your personal details, or why your other offer was rescinded. Why don't you contact them again, and book in with an adviser for advice?

reading between the lines,i applied for mortgage with present job location and was referred and not accepted because of that, then was asked about distance of job from new house,i explained about transfering my job with same company they refused and said they wanted another 10k down!

    cheers

they were meant to be 4.25 x salary, how quick do you think i could get a offer?
    cheers

There is no definitive time frame, they are checking everything at the moment so between 2-4 weeks I would have thought reasonable, sometimes using a broker is helpful because they have contacts in the underwriting departments and can weedle things out of them quicker, sometimes not, but they can also keep chasing and chasing until it comes through! That is how we spend our day!!

Either way you will need to make sure that you have everything ready for them, whether they initially ask for it or not, so 3 months bank statement, 3 months payslip, most recent mortgage statement, they are likely to go for an employers reference so ensure that they have the correct address and fax number for the correct person who can write back and explain that you are being relocated etc.
