yes, if you use your pc to make the calls via www.voipcheap.co.uk or www.skype.com or any of the VOIP servicesEx forum ambassador

If you look about 1 inch above your "I'm a BT phone user but I am starting........" you'll see a link called Int'l CallChecker. Give it a go.

For a call to other VoipCheap users, simply enter a VoipCheap username in the textbox and click the dial-button. For a call to any regular phone, enter the desired number in the textbox and click the dial-button. If you are calling a land line in one of our free destinations, the call will be placed at no costs at all. For all other calls, you will be asked to buy credit first.Ex forum ambassador

There are a few cheap providers. One I've used is https://www.telediscount.co.uk. It is 1p/min to USA and you don't need to register with them to use it0

I'd still go for https://www.18185.co.uk at 4p connection and 0.5p/minute. At least you don't have to pay the connection charge unless you get through.Need_More_Money wrote:There are a few cheap providers. One I've used is www.telediscount.co.uk. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
https://www.teletop.co.uk a sister company of 18185 offer free calls to USA . You have to top up by £1.50p , a connection charge of 5p a call applies, and access is via an 020 number. Which is handy if you have free or inclusive calls to 01/02 numbers in your landline package.0

https://www.cheapestchat.com @ 0.6p chared per second & no minimum chge but you gotta call the £1.50 line etc...
