I am currently in an IVA with Blaire Endersby since 2007 (approx 30,000, sttarted at 252 now paying 370 in just over a year which i have to calculate myself? having done a year with CCCS previously) I was told that they would help all the way through and every 3 months i send pay slips an every year they do a review but do not tell me what i need to pay for the next year. I am a teacher so my money goes up every sept, so i always inform them what it will be and still i do not know what i should be paying. I have continually rang to find out and all they say is calculate how much i think i will earn on top and pay that, is this right??
I am really unsure whether to carry on with this route as i was told i will be helped all the way and i wanted to pay back as much as i could from putting myself through uni, WHAT SHOULD I DO???????????????????

on top of this, i have a 20 year old daughter who went to college for a two year beauty course which ended in 2007 and has now only a 2hr a day cleaning job and works in a bar when she can get the hours, she has been looking for work but obviously there is none so she is still dependent on me (she pays me 25pound a week) but obviously i have to help her out with essentials.

Your IVA company should have told you how much you can earn each month. Any amount on top of that, you send 50% of it to the company with a covering letter and photocopy of your payslip. For any major expenditure that crops up and isn't in your budget, you should be able to negotiate a reduced payment with the IVA company. They can amend your payment by up to 15% or something like that, any more than that has to go to the creditors for approval with revised budget figures to support your case for reduced payments. You should have a contact number for your IVA case worker who can advise what to do. If not, then I suspect you are not getting the service you should be getting from that company. One life - your life - live it!0

Or just phone them and ask them what you are to ammend your payments to so you are covering the extras for the previous year in your monthly payments. (Im with Blair Endersby too, and thats all I do - they work it out for me, and make a note on my file that Ive asked them what to change my DD to - though I am going to have to sort out any extra I earn next year,as well as covering the split in this years wages as its my final year and Im DETERMINED to finish next September!!)
Im suprised youve had trouble with them - they have been fantastic with mine.
Good luck !!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
