    I've been Money Tipped!
Normally when your shoes rub, i put a little vaseline where the rubbing is taking place, this stops the friction, it sounds stupid i know, but it works. :D

and it probably softens the leather helping them stretch/soften to fit more. Double benefit.:)

Vaseline is a Moneysaving way to prevent rubs, but like MrsBartolozzi said, Compeed is fantastic for protecting the heels after they have been rubbed, they have extra cushioning and don't rub off like plasters. Just a bit on the pricey side.

Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Combo Breaker Hung up my suit!
I vote for Compeed but they are quite expensive, Tesco do their own which are just as good, I have also used the Party Feet ( tesco do their own as do Boots I think) which are great on shoes that are less than comfy. I am really fussy about my work shoes I only buy one brand as they always fit and they are always comfy from the off, Gabor.

I am useless with strappy sandals I hate wearing them always end up with sore feet rubbed heels etc. Sympathies to the OP hope the heels heal soon.

I can't remember who makes them but I have used blister plasters with great success. You leave them on for as long as your foot is healing e.g. a week. for moneysaving with new shoes - get your o/h to wear them and break them in lol
