Greenback on tomatoes

I have greenback on several of my tomatoes. I have had coolglass on the greenhouse from the start of the really sunny weather, even put on another coat, to no avail. I don't think it is due to potassium deficiency as the tomato plants that are sometimes shaded, due to next doors tree. are ok.

Any ideas on how else to shade them apart from black bin liners !!

Also should I be looking for suitable recipes to use up these tomatoes. I don't know if they will end up being edible or not, unless they are cooked ?

Also it seems to be Gardeners delight that have been affected. The one and only Tigerella plant I have does not seem to be bothered by the sun at all.....

Hope I used the right term greenback...... for me its when the top half of the tomato stays a very dark green while the bottom half looks ok. I've never had it before, I'm guessing that the top half of the tomato will not ripen, while the bottom half does.
