My first port of call might be the news agencies that covered the story.
One of them recently did a feature on the families affected.
You never know, they may want to run a story on the sponsership. Whilst your mum may not initially welcome the publicity, it could help to gather more sponserships

What a thoughtful idea. Perhaps your mum could contact Geraldine Smith, the MP for Morecambe and Lunedale (Geraldine Smith MP, House of Commons, London SW1 1AA)She's very involved with the families of those who died.

Contacted Geraldine first she then gave name of someone else who said all was now with the Chinese consulate they have not replied to emails.It pays to challenge0
