Is there any reason the performer shouldn't be paid the money claimed (which I presume is for services already undertaken?)0

That application won't be completed until we have the everything that is required and we are waiting for that from the buyer's solicitor
Good morning LR rep, wondered if you could take a look at my case again to see if there has been any advance and if the buyers solicitor has completed their side of things, they are not replying to my solicitor so I’m unsure of what’s going on and would really like this concluded so I can sort out my life
Thanks

Hello I wondered whether you could help me with a question regarding changing orders. I have a final Charging order against my sole mortgaged property for approx £10k. I also have a pretty poor credit rating 630 on experian. I just want to know if it's possible to remortgage with the charging order as I know I'm paying way too much interest. Many thanks0

If you remortage with your existing lender you should be fine as they are already the first charge holder on the deeds.
Any new lender, however, would insist on removal of the CO before any lending could take place to enable them to be the first charge holder.
Mortgage lenders insist on being the first charge holder to give them "power of sale" over the property should the property ever have to be repossessed.0 -
Hi eggbox, any advice please:
My case I’d still rumbling along with no resolve, it would appear the the buyers solicitor hasn’t sent notification to SS Solicitors re the transfer which is now holding up the registration, my solicitor has held back the total amount to cover all 4 charging orders plus some extra to cover costs if any as an undertaking to the buyers that if it went wrong they could use the money to pay them. they are not replying to my requests to release to funds for the orders that have been dismissed so I’m stuck as to what to do next?!!0 -
Firstly, you need to contact the buyer to find out why their solicitor isn't doing his job as its preventing their purchase?
Until the registration is confirmed, however, I doubt you will get any funds released as solicitors are notorious for covering their own !!!!!! before those of their clients, unfortunately?0 -

It’s got me stressed to death and is adding to the enormous strain on my health in all honesty, I know I got myself in to this mess but I’m loosing the will to live over it ☹️0 -
I do understand but you need to get a grip and understand it isn't a life or death situation. Its only about debt and you will live to fight another day no matter how this episode turns out?
So channel your frustration into working the problem logically. Find out why the buyers solicitor hasn't contacted the creditor and find out why the buyer isn't as concerned as you are that their registration is being held up? This will tell you all you need to know.0 -
