They must be making this up as they go along! The entry form has changed and you now have to insert an email address as well as the answer and phone number. They are obviously making it harder for those people on another forum bragging about using all their free sim cards to make lots of entries.

It's great that they have made it fairer but the rules have ALWAYS stated that there are 12 entries PER PERSON per day, not per phone.

If someone wins the 50k on a different phone than they have claimed a taste kit on then they will be disqualified....personally I don't think it's worth risking losing a prize that big for a few bottles of Magners...

1. Entry open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of Magners, its agents and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.
2. No purchase necessary. To enter, entrants must text MAGNERS followed by a space followed by their answer to the entry question in numerical format (e.g. MAGNERS 1) to 64446. One web entry per person per day is available online at www.magnerstastetester.com. Maximum of 12 entries per person per day permitted.
3. Text messages will be charged at your standard network rate. Charges will be deducted from the entrant's available credit time if they are a pre-pay customer or appear on their monthly statement if they are a pay-monthly customer. Please check with the bill payer before sending a text message. Please note that these texts may not be included in all text-inclusive packages.
4. Closing date for entries is 11pm on 17/10/09.
5. There is one headline prize as a ‘Magners Taste Tester’ consisting of £50,000, a VIP trip to Clonmel for 2 people (consisting of economy flights, airport transfers in Ireland and 3 nights 4* accommodation. 8. One hourly prize of a Magners Taste Test Kit is available every hour from 11am – 11pm during the promotional period. Entries received outside of these times will be counted along with entries from the next promotional hour. The Magners Taste Test Kit consists of a Magners T-shirt, pint glass and case of 12 x 568ml Magners Cider. Winners will be drawn at random under independent supervision from all correct entries received that hour.
9. All winners of the hourly prizes will be notified by text with instructions on how to claim their prize. Prizes must be claimed within 28 days, and will be delivered within a further 28 days. In the event that any winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 28 days, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve drawn at the same time as the original.
10. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any text messages/entries that are lost or delayed or which are unable to be sent due to lack of network coverage, or for any other reason beyond the Promoter's control. Proof of sending a text message is not proof of receipt of entry.
11. The prizes will be as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be available except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value.
