Average utility bills for a small restaurant?

Options
Hi. My mum and aunt are thinking of setting up a small business cooking and selling pasta. We were wondering what the electricity/gas/water bills are for an average small restaurant. Its only a small place, and we wouldn't be using much litchen equipment.

Any help would be useful :)

Thanks!:j

  • they will be HIGH and so will your water bill.

best idea is speak to a local business owner, they can give you a true idea of running costs.

Remember that(technically) you will have a business energy account and you need to be very careful about the conditions. They normally have a 'rolling contract' where you have to give advance notice that you are ending the contract.

Otherwise they can increase the price to any level and you are tied into the contract for a further 12 months.
