Being charged whilst I wait for an operator?

    Why not change to a supplier who doesnt charge you to call customer service if thats important to you. EG BT,Talk Talk, PO Homephone etc.

    We have the right to do that, my point is that if we phone "customer service" - we should not get charged until we are speaking to somebody - surely we have the right to that?:confused:

    How is that possible when the call is answered by human or machine you start paying for a chargeable call full stop.

    You may think that, however Sky clearly have other ideas, if you don't like the service ( or lack of it ) that Sky provide, the solution is simple.

    My provider issues a Freephone number, the phone is answered in 3 rings by a UK based, human technician who knows is / her stuff.
