How not to list - lady get an iron

I can't believe that a person who thinks that their precious items are worth buying doesn't think they're also worth pressing. To my mind, if they cant be a**ed giving it an iron they probably won't a**ed to give it a proper wash either. Blech!0

no you can tell it has been washed - it's more pink than yellow! Clearly a reds in with lights kind of gal :rotfl:

The seller's obviously had a disaster with the 'boil wash' setting!

Everything is pink tinged and shrunken! I predict some negs....:rotfl:
Probably what caused all the bother...0 -
When I'm listing I set up my laptop and my ironing board. A nicely presented item makes you think it has been looked after and is going to be in decent nick. I also iron when packing too - i think it irritates people when they get something badly creased through the post.
Looking at that item above - it may be a nice shirt that has just been washed but you instantly get the feeling its going to arrive grubby with holes.0 -
I half imagine it smelling slightly mouldy having been in the cramped bottom of a holdall for weeks. Even if you just washed it and hung the stuff out to dry it wouldn't be half as creased as that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. To be fair though as it's creased in the photos. No one should be disappointed on receiving it. It is sold as seen.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0

Tbh, the lack of ironing wouldn't put me off outdoor clothing. You don't take an iron up a mountain, do you? (Unless you're into "extreme ironing"). In fact, ironing or even just washing with conditioner can ruin coatings on specialist clothing. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

Surely though you wouldn't seriously be selling this stuff unwashed though after a mountain trek..or is that the catch..are we back to specialist fetish items again :eek:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. No, it should be washed as per the care instructions - just not necessarily ironed. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
