They have just reduced my overdraft from 800 to 500.No reason given.Have used it thrice in the last six months.Never went over the allowed limit.0

If you have online banking, then just log onto the Natwest site and it will tell you your overdraft limit. For instance it will show -£xxx as your current account fund status and an available amount of £xxx.
So for example if you had £500 in your account and an overdraft limit of £1000, it would show £500 with available funds £1500.
Touching on overdraft limits being reduced, my overdraft limit is £5000 and has been for the best part of 7 or so year. Not been reduced, despite the fact the most I've been overdrawn in the past 5 years or so is £7, so I guess one day they'll reduce it.0 -

Have a read here - #8 as I posted earlier....
Its not just you - 1000's of us are getting things reduced. Read that link!2010 - year of the troll

Finally sorted this out. NatWest have said it was a mistake on their part and that no overdrafts should ever be suspended without 14 days written notice, never overnight. And that mine being suspended was a mistake anyway! They have put it back to 2,000 like it was before. So I'm happy it got sorted but angry that they can make a mistake like this and leave me cashless over the weekend.0

Glad it's sorted, would be nice if banks sometime gave a gesture of goodwill even if it's only a fiver or so.0

You know, listening to this and other stories, I can tell you, i'd would never ever touch Natwest.
Me iz currently with HSBC, and yeah, I am coming to conclusion the HSBC is pretty much the best bank going. Although Nationwide and Cooperative bank don't seem too crummy either.0 -
