Ive got an ariel lead which is connected to an ariel point which in turn is connected to an ariel to receive freeview, would i be right in thinking that theres a way to send the freeview signal to another tv in the house, would something like this do the job and would i need snything else to get it to work

Or theres a new box for £17.99:

Or a cheaper alternative if your signal is strong enough. The problem with the item in your original post is that both TV's would have to display the same channel.
With this and -TangleFoot-'s method you will need an additional freeview box but the TV's will then run independently of each other.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0 -
Also take into consideration that just about every 'video sender' ive ever seen send 'composite' video ~ NOT RGB (Meaning it will never look as good as connecting via decent scart cable):idea:0

didnt mention in my OP but the tv thats downstairs isnt on freeview as its on virgin media tv,
i wasnt sure how it could be done or if it was even possible0 -

laying cable isnt really an option, it would be more trouble than its worth, my tv is in the opposite corner to where the ariel point is downstairs,0 -
Since you don't need an aerial for VM, why not relocate it to where the other TV is and add a freeview box there?Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0
