Hello there,
I was just looking for some quick advice, many moons ago, I was bankcrupt. I am not anymore was discharged april 05 after 2.5 years. Anyway I am in the process of opening a regular savings account with the Halifax. When I realised that they are connected with Bank of Scotland. One of the debts included in my bankcrupcy was a charity credit card with BOS. Could the halifax hijack my cash for this old debt? I already have a savings gateway account which is run out of a halifax liquid gold account and I have not had any problems with that and I have had it for over a year now.
Cheers

Once you are discharged, your debts are written off - that's the point of bankruptcy. There won't be any problem.I'm an Investment Manager. Any comments I make on this board should be not be construed as advice, and are for general information purposes only.0
