Toshiba TV warranty help.

Hi all I was wondering if anyone could help by giving me some advice/info.

I purchased a Toshiba TV today and there is no information regarding the 12 month warranty in the documents provided. With some other electrical items I have purchased I have been required to register the product in order to activate its 12 month warranty. Is this something you have to do with Toshiba products or is it automatically covered?

As you say there is no overall rule about registering your purchase regarding warranty. As long as you keep your receipt/proof of purchase you will be covered. If i may suggest that i alwasy leave my receipt in the box it came in and put the box in the garage/loft, if you do this with everything you know exactly where they are automatically. Always keep boxes for the warranty time as it so much easier if you have to return anything.

The store you bought it from will have a record of the sale which will help them ascertain when your guarantee starts/ends. They will help organise a repair on it anyway

There's a 'register your product' link in the top right on here. Do that and keep your receipt safe.
