BBC Radio theatre audience help!

Hi, I've posted this on freebies as well as unsure which topic to post on!
I've got tickets to watch the recording of Matt Lucas' new radio show tomorrow at BBC radio theatre, Portland Place. It states on the ticket that you aren't guaranteed a seat as they give out more tickets than places, but just wondered if other people had any experience of going to these and what time to turn up? Admission on site is at 6.15, admission to studio at 7.15 and recording starts at 7.30pm. Do people go early and queue or shall I arrive between 6.15 - 7.15?
