BBC Radio theatre audience help!

Options
Hi, I've got tickets to watch the recording of Matt Lucas' new radio show tomorrow at BBC radio theatre, Portland Place. It states on the ticket that you aren't guaranteed a seat as they give out more tickets than places, but just wondered if other people had any experience of going to these and what time to turn up? Admission on site is at 6.15, admission to studio at 7.15 and recording starts at 7.30pm. Do people go early and queue or shall I arrive between 6.15 - 7.15?

For popular shows like this, I would arrive at 6.15 or slightly after. There will be a queue but you will get in.

Remember the "airport style" security regime. Avoid having a penknife or other metal objects which might be viewed as potential weapons (!) by the security personnel - and be prepared to remove belts if they have big metal buckles.

    MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com

Thanks for that - also for moving the thread, although I only posted it on freebies as the tickets were free from the BBC free tickets website!
