any reason you want to use a mac and mac os x?

I'd recommend them for certain users (i use a mac pro but am going back to windows next time) tell more about your computer useage and i'll try to recommend a spec!

The 13-inch MacBook Pro is a better computer than the MacBook. It has metal body, a faster processor, supports twice as much RAM (8 GB vs 4 GB), longer battery life, a multi-touch trackpad, supports larger external displays, a FireWire 800 port, and has an SD card slot.

It's also £150 more expensive though, so if those things don't matter to you, get the MacBook.

If you're a student, you can get quite a big discount and a free iPod Touch, so don't forget about that.
