Leather Sofas glitch Tesco Direct .

Well, was looking forward to receiving my bargain Amersham sofas after trying for ages to place my order after checking for ages for them to be back in stock. Managed to place my order last week, however, Tesco rang me the day before delivery to say that they had been discontinued and were out of stock. I'm not happy!

In reply to your post, it seems the measurements are for the size of the box that they come in. I used the measurements in comparison with my sofa i have already and was quite pleased. However when i received the Amersham ' large ' sofas and unpacked one, well i wasnt pleased. Ok i guess if you have a small room and are small people but if your average sized and have a big family, not good!

Hi Heidi, thanks for the reply. I have ordered these on behalf of my son who does have a tiny front room. He and his girlfriend are fretting in case these sofas are too big so thats why I was after the exact dimensions. I was wanting to get the measurements before I cancelled.

These are the measurements taken from the side of the box but sofa is alot smaller than this.

Received my 2 x 2 seater Amersham sofa's today so they've still got some of these. Hubby laughed at the size of them but they fit our little playroom and suit me (5'4) and our 1 year old a treat!! So I'm happy but 6' hubby wouldn't recommed them.

My brother received his Minnesota recliners today and said the 3 seater is really big -he is well pleased and is bringing me the 2 seater one at the week-end .

I've ordered two (before I saw the comments about the small size) I'm not too worried about height but would be interested in how people find the depth of the Amersham sofa. I don't want to feel like I'm sitting on a ledge. I'm 5 foot 7. Any comments you have would be appreciated as I have until the 28th to change the order if I can.
