Leather Sofas glitch Tesco Direct .

If anyone was interested in the BOGOF small 2 seater Amersham sofa's, they have just come back into stock. Just ordered for the playroom, with the Tesco sofa discount code too they are GBP203 inc delivery for the pair. Perfect for us with toddlers but maybe too small for 'normal' folk!. Thanks everyone

Got our 2 sofas today. Very good delivery service, Tesco email you and give you an expected time bracket, drivers call you to let you know when they are on their way.

Anyway, one is still in its box as it's getting a new home at my mums. DH said it wouldn't fit through front door in its packaging, so it had to come through the french doors at the back.

Sizewise, its a very small '3 seater'. Much smaller than its predecessor. It is also quite high up and the seats are for small bottoms!!! It's about the same size as our ikea Klippan sofa. Just looked and it is the same size. Personally, I wouldn't have valued it at £500+ but working out at just over £120 a sofa definately worth it!

SootSoot , which ones did you get ? I am waiting on the Minesotta recliners -going to my brothers next Tuesday and if he is happy i am having the 2 seater one (only got it as it was a little bit over the price of the recliner chair -so better value).

We got the large Amersham ones. Box is a bit battered but not totally ripped or falling off.

Have any more MSE'ers got their Amersham sofas yet? Can you tell me what you think of them? Seems to be a question about the height.

Recieved my 'large' Amersham sofas yesterday and i have to say i was very disappointed even at that bargain price. Nicely made sofas but oh soooo small. They looked absolutely lost in my living room, ok if you are aound 4ft and have a very small bum but definately not large and i certainly would never have paid nearly £600 a sofa. New to MSE and that will definately teach me not to impulse buy. Luckily a family member bought them off me for the price i had paid, otherwise there would have been another two back in stock.:rolleyes:
