Holiday savings - thanks Martin!

I have saved ££££'s on the cost of package holidays for myself and friends over the past couple of years by following Martins haggling advice.
I have just booked a week's B&B in Dusseldorf, for my sister and myself, for £160 each, booking the flight and hotel separately on cheap deals. A similar package through a city breaks brochure was £385.
This is the first time I have booked independently, so we are looking forward to it with some trepidation and much excitement. Pre-MSE I had neither the knowledge or the confidence to do this.
