LOL, do you work for Moorcroft? The last word that is associated with them is 'helpful' or 'friendly' - they are the biggest bunch of shysters (after Cabot / Lowells).....

They are out to get paid so of course 'may' be nice if they think they are getting money! Let me ask, did your wife agree to pay them something? If so she'd have got the nice response - if she refused then she'd have seen the 'real' Moorcroft! :mad: :mad: :mad:

They cannot pass back to Barclays in 14 days either - who told you this gem? If they have been legally assigned then they own the debt but if they are acting on behalf of BC then simply ignore them and go direct to the account provider, i.e. BC.

There are laws you know - these scummy DCA's break them and try anything to get money from you.

I would like to meet this A J Martin from Moorcrap, he or she is Head of Collections, Head of Home Collections, Admin, Pre Court Manager... Head of Loo Cleaning!! Must call in to see them when i am in Stockport next time.

I put in a financial system with a debt collection agency a good few years back. The same person I was sitting training would answer the phone as "Ms Black", "Ms Brown", "Ms Orange" and sometimes put herself on hold just to answer the phone again as another one of her persona's. Hilarious to watch They never used their real names for security/safety reasons.
