Costume Jewellery for pennies

Whilst browsing on Ebay this morning, looking at costume Jewellery
I found a seller that is selling everything at practically pennies... with free post and packaging

I managed to pick up some nice Jade earings for 1p and a bangle for 1p
all with free postage and packing

Great Bargain, its from an overseas seller in china
I was amazed at how much jewellery they are selling for 1p

So if you are a registered Ebay user there name is :

Be aware though with this that you have to pay for insurance which is at least 3 pounds - it is actually compulsary.

Be careful when buying from abroad as they don't have the same regulations as the UK with regard to nickel content etc.

I don't think ebay is allowed to be advertised on here, I understand it isn't your account but I think its against rules.

The feedback's not brilliant either - a lot of people saying they didn't get their items. Hope all goes ok for you OP.

You have got to ask yourself why someone would be selling things for a loss on e-bay?

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is!

So you don't have to pay for a skip. Seriosuly, we are selling a load of books at the moment for 99p listing (and lots of other stuff) as we do not rip off on the postage costs we are just about breaking even with the ebay and paypal charges (or making around 50p max per book). But it means we are getting rid of the stuff, someone will enjoy their purchase and we don't have to pay £100 + for another skip.

And the 60p's do add up. Look after the pennies..... and all that .....:j

More seriosuly though, I don't think some people understand all the fees involved. When we ebayed a lot I had a spreadsheet and a £1 sale made less than 20p at that time. This was based on an expected double listing fee, as things didn't usually sell 1st time and we always worked with caution, allowing for four listings. (2 paid and 2 free)

As you know ebay charge a listing fee, final fee, paypal minimum fee etc., We knew people were buying the same products as us, from the wholesalers and selling them at a loss.

What a lot of fuss to make no money!
    That's what freecycle is for.

If I can't make any money out of it, I'd rather it go to a charity shop and them make some money.
If it can't go to a charity shop (electrical items) then I'd rather someone used it so I tend to freecycle it.
