learning disabled person

i have a daughter with a learning disability, she is 21 but functions at 6 or 7 year old. she has the whole of august off and i am looking for days away that she can go to with a carer that dont cost loads of money but are fun, it can be quite expensive when i have to pay twice for everything (my daughter and her pa)
i live in east yorkshire if anyone has any idea that would be great

Hi Sharon

Does your daughter get DLA? If so there are certain places that will do concessions for people on DLA. Sometimes it that the DLA reciever goes free, sometimes they and their carer/parent get in half price. This depends on where you are as to what's on offer but it's worth enquiring

My DS1 gets DLA, but I never, ever, ever remember to ask about consessions when we go anywhere and we always pay full price for everything, doh! :rolleyes:
