Switching tariff with existing supplier - cashback?
We're considering switching providers - currently paying ~£850pa for gas with E.On and ~£640 for electricity with npower. Looking at the comparison sites, we could save approx £220pa with a dual-fuel tariff from EDF, and about £212 with one from either npower or E.On.
Has anyone on the forum done a switch of a second fuel to the provider of their first one (e.g. if we switched our gas to npower)? How would that work if we did this from one of the switching sites and/or via the cash back sites - do the suppliers put a block on accepting such 'partial switches' in this way?
Rgds, Ian

Suppliers will accept such switches but they will, of course, only offer the single fuel cashback amount.0
