I always knew you had it in you Pastures! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? To say this recession is similar to 1929 because the graphs looks similar, is similar to saying that I look like Johnny Depp because I have two legs, two arms and am the same age as him.
Last time I looked I couldnt see any hunger marchers around town when I went out, and I'm pretty sure the average working man in 1929 didnt go on holiday a couple of times a year, or play lotto every week.
I could be wrong though. But I'm not.0 -
Wait and see how tough life will get once we start paying down the debt.
Its easy to say things arent as bad whilst forgetting we are running a budget deficit from hell which is practically propping the whole country up.0 -

That's the key point that people who are looking up seem to be forgetting. Just watched Vince Cable being interviewed on Sky News. He talked about cutting expenditure and the need to focus on choices on what to cut, rather than slashing and burning across the board. He went on to say...
"The British economy is not just bouncing back from a temporary recession, there are some very deep underlying problems. The image I have is that its as if the economy has had a heart attack, and it is recovering, but it is difficult and there are all kinds of problems looming up like the enormous budget deficit that is going to have to be dealt with, the fact that the economy can't continue to rely on the artificial creation of credit and very very low interest rates. And these things when they are corrected are going to create problems for growth, so we may indeed find ourselves in a prolonged period of very slow growth."Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
