Be careful when you use the meat voucher. I bought chicken legs, a pork belly joint ready cooked, sausages, bacon and black pudding coming to well over £8 and the voucher wasn't accepted as the customer services said it didn't count as fresh meat. Only the chicken did and things like beef joints. The sign is actually up at the end of the bacon section so I feel they should have accepted it (especially as the voucher says pre-packed meat include). If bacon and sausage isn't meat then what the heck are they? And the joint should have been okay I feel (okay it wasn't fresh when I bought it but it would have been before they cooked it).
I spent over £8 on a lamb joint and 2 packs of fresh fish (pre-packed) mine didn't scan (I have never had one of the meat ones scan for me yet!). I put my meat/fish through first on the conveyor belt so knew I had spent over £8 so I took it to customer service where she scrutinsed what I had bought (she said bacon didn't count but that wasn't in my calculation). My milk one didn't scan either, they went on the belt straight after my meat/fish, makes it easier to check what you have spent. I had a combination of milk, milk shakes from the chiller, soya milk, well over £5 again she scrutinised but she did give me the cash back. They were the only ones I tried today, hope I have better luck with the others.0 -

I did actually post about this yesterday morning Coupon mad, although you may have missed it. Was originally trying it out against the meal deal, which didn't work.
Sorry I missed that.
I did see someone (was it you?) had posted about the chocolate offer - which wasn't on in my local Sainsbugs until today - but didn't see anything about thr 2 for £1.60 also kicking in. Found that bit out by mistake in the first transaction earlier when my sums went a bit wrong because of it!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Annoying huh, I bought 2 papers today, went to stationery section and they are all sold out of the black twin pack, but had absolutely shed loads of other packs all on offer half price. SA wouldnt even try to scan the coupon to see if it would work with other packs tho!
I really hope my other small local has some tomorrow, otherwise I wasted 60p!
Mine had also sold out. The moc didn't scan, even against another type of Sharpie pen pack and CS were not interested. OH tried again today and over heard someone asking at CS, who said none due in until tonight!:mad:So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

My store was also sold out saturday, she had already rung all the other stores in the area to find they were also out of stock. I rang Tesco customer services (08005005555) today and she was unaware of the offer in the paper, she asked around and no one else seemed to know about it either. She is sending me a gift card with £2 on to get any pens I want.
I also contacted the Sun via contact us on their website complaining of the lack of pens and the fact that Tesco Customer Services were unaware of the offer and they have given me an address to send my coupon to to hopefully get the pens. There is no guarantee they can definitely get them, but the coupon is no use anyway as it has expired, so I might try that as well.0 -
Quoia :A, not sure if you still look at the threads after the event, but I wondered if you could add to the Saturday ones going forward, after the £1.50 off OK mag, in brackets maybe that it doesn't scan in Tesco?
I'm probably not the only one who bought a couple because of that and the £30 offer thinking it would cover the cost of the paper having the £1.50 off as well.
