can anyone say anymore about the daily star free kids to blackppol offer, we're thinking of going soon so any money saved would be a huge help especially as my mum has 7 grandkids to get wristbands for.

My Tesco wouldn't accept the Daily Express £1.50 off OK mag today and I've bloomin' bought 2 of the things - huh! Computer said no, it just beeped and wouldn't accept when he typed it in either, and he tried twice, bless him.

Have yet to try the Lidl one, but suspect it'll be a no...

The Ok coupons were blocked by Tesco a while ago

Don't forget these work on the total BEFORE bogof and special offers so only need to spend £4 to get £2 off.

This is how it worked last time anyway.

So for instance the rasps and strawbs that are £1.99 and £1.98 at the mo and on offer at £3, will actually total almost £4 or halfway towards your £8 spend?

I take it, it isn't the same for price reductions, like melons down from £2 to £1? That'd be too good, I s'pose!

You got it right. Offers work to your advantage when using these coupons. :D;)

BTW if anyone still has some of the Free Oasis coupons (from the Metro earlier this week) to use up in Sainsburys by 30th, I found out today that there are 2 offers running at once on the Oasis in Sainsbugs, which gives a fair profit towards your other shopping. The offers are:

    1. Get an Oasis plus Maltesers or Mars or Snickers (37g or 50g I think) for £1

    2. Get 2 x Oasis for £1.60

The till scans the Oasis at 97p each then takes enough off the choc bars to make them cost 3p each. Then the till also takes a multibuy off each 2 x Oasis to allow for the 2 for £1.60 offer (- 34p per pair).

But the Oasis coupons scan at £1.05 each (SA willing)!

So today I had 10 Oasis vouchers left, which made £10.50 in coupon value. Picked up 10 Oasis and 10 mixed Maltesers/Mars which I worked out would only cost me £8.30 at the till after both offers kicked in. So I had to pop another £3.50-worth of bakery items in my basket so I could use up a Nectar 100 points offer coupon as well as disguise/use the coupon profit.

Total over £17 before offers, down to £11.80 after. Paid £1.30.:rotfl::T

when I got to the till today at tescos I asked if they would accept the Lidl one and it was confirmed by the supervisor as one they can take. In my bag I also had a backup coupon from Farmfoods which my store will also take now but not in conjunction with another spend X amount coupon so it made sense to use the Lidl one today as it had a shorter expiry

Careful Sun readers - I nearly bought this but decided to try n see if they had them first. Our Tescos used to stock them but no longer do having discontinued the stationery section for cheap kettles and other tat. :(

Annoying huh, I bought 2 papers today, went to stationery section and they are all sold out of the black twin pack, but had absolutely shed loads of other packs all on offer half price. SA wouldnt even try to scan the coupon to see if it would work with other packs tho!
I really hope my other small local has some tomorrow, otherwise I wasted 60p!

I did actually post about this yesterday morning Coupon mad, although you may have missed it. Was originally trying it out against the meal deal, which didn't work.
