Clearing ragwort almost sounds as much fun as picking up poos.

I had a lovely ride...there was a slight moment of panic when I took a wrong turning in the woods and ended up on the top of the moor by some wild ponies but I diverted his attention away before I ended up in the middle of them. Yikes!

You're beginning to sound like a real debt free wannabe now! Very educated desicion about choosing the fixed rate of 7%.

Cancelling your Next order and closing the directory?? Wooah there, steady on. That sounds like a very sensible thing to do indeed! Soon you'll be selling all your belongings on Ebay like I did!

Ring up Egg and ask them about doing a balance transfer, remember that you need to ask about balance transfer fees and interest. I recently paid off and closed my Egg Card (wohoo!) but I found Egg to be very helpful.

Thank you - you are great!!!!! :A

Well done!! No one will let me have any more credit cards to transfer mine to 0%!! Had to get groceries for the week today and gulp, use my credit card for the first time in MONTHS!! Had a bad month, want to get it out of the way, roll on pay day and paying off more debts. Doing 21 hours this weekend on top of my 37.5 during the week, can't use the electric at home etc, and thinking of the money to clear my debts at the end of August. Trying not to dwell on the two nights out I had this month that have crippled me!!!
You are going in the right direction - yippee!! xx

i wish i could take on extra work!!!!
    any ideas besides ebay???

My boyfriend and I did a car boot sale the other weekend, had a few ok-ish bits to sell but mainly just stuff that had been lying around in the way for ages.

We didn't even sell the main bits but just by selling odds and sods we raised about £100!

It's defo worth doing if you've got bits cluttering up the place and much more fun than Ebay.....just don't look around the other stalls otherwise BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN!

We've got a festival coming up in 2 weekends and need some extra cash so are gunna do another car boot this weekend to raise some extra cash.

Once you actually start thinking about paying off your debts and getting extra cash etc it soon becomes quite addictive and you'll learn more and more, you've already taken the first step so it's all onwards and upwards from here. Go Team! lol :)

  • Well done you! I got rid of all my credit cards 2 years ago and I can honestly say, it was the best thing I've ever done. I don't think I'll ever have another one! It's so much nicer now buying things with money that I have!

I really varies. Look in your loacal paper in the ad section at the back to see if there's any advertised, then ring up and I ask.

The one we go to is a really big one.

We pay £1 entry for the car.....but we pay £8 which actually is for borrowing the massive table they provide you. So if we took our own table it would hardly be costing us a thing. So I guess it depends on the individual venue and if you want to borrow a table etc.

If you've got the spare time on a Sunday morning it is great fun (early start though!)
