Help with free clues to Easter egg hunt

I saw some easter egg hunt 'packs' but I thought they were expensive, so weather permitting I want to dot the eggs family have given round the garden.
Can anyone help with not too cryptic clues for places I will hide them.
In the garden I have a slide, climbing frame, hedge, goal posts and wendy house.
The children are aged 6 and 3 so the clues can't be too hard, I'm just struggling to think some up and would appreciate some help
thanks

So you want clues for them to find eggs at the above places?

Wendy House - a girls home?

    Hedge - a green wall?

Goal Posts - kick your football through these

Climbing Frame - you can climb high on this

    Slide - ?

Its actually quite hard thinking of clues for children isnt it!!

  • How about ...

    (s)he shoots, (s)he scores - goal post
you climb up this and then go down it on your bottom - slide
a home in the garden - wendy house
a row of trees - hedge
the highest point in the garden - climbing frame

    Have fun!

Children of this age just love hunts. I used to do one very year with one of the groups I had in school. I hid the eggs when the children weren't looking. I would gather the children together and put on some music. While the music was playing they could run around together and look for eggs - but couldn't touch them. When the music stopped they came back to me. We then did a memory game where they went off one at a time to collect an egg. It got much harder at the end but they were allowed to help each other by shouting out 'hot' or 'cold' depending how near the egg they were.

"you were found under one of these" -- the bushes lol

"slide down for a treat at the bottom" -- hide an egg just under the slide at the bottom

or something like 'up to the swing and 3paces to the left, 5 paces towards the wendy house, turn round 3 times and enter - leave an egg in the wendy house.. bit like a treasure hunt map type thing .. im waffling now lol
It only seems kinky the first time.. :A

I'm still doing an Easter egg hunt for DD age 11. Now she is in on the Easter Bunny mystery she joins in by writing a couple of clues for us to find.

I always leave the first clue on her bedside cabinet and line up the cuddly toys to lead to the next clue.

Not too late prudent do one tonight. You just need some small creme eggs and a few silly clues like

Once upon a time there was an Easter bunny
Hiding his eggs he thought was funny
He thought he'd hide his eggs
in a place you usually find pegs (then put another clue in peg bag but no egg)
He changed his mind because of wild birds (peg bag is on washing line)
and has hidden the egg amongst many words (yep it's back to the bedroom to the book shelf)

    Lots of fun

ps I'm sick of chocolate already.

Well the kids got up at 5am  . They looked in the garden and couldn't see anything- I wonder why at that time  . So we told them The Easter Bunny doesn't come if children get up to early and he thinks he'll be seen. So we had to ring him when he got back later on and ask if he'd mind returning whilst the kids got dressed ;).
When this was done they ran out excitedly into garden and didn't look at clues just gathered eggs but when they'd collected they came in and read clues to make sure they hadn't missed any- they had :p . But maybe it's just as well cos Mr Spendless was unable to work out elonas clue  .

Thank you to everyone who gave me ideas
