Sky Card taking money without my knowledge

Hi
Had a look online today at my bank account and discovered a cheque payment number 00022 has been paid out today (24th July). Went and looked at cheque book stubs and last cheque made out was only for number 0009. Looked through blank cheques still in book and noticed that the number sequence stops at number 00020 then jumps to 00036
Rang up bank to see what was going on as thought it could be fraud and they were very helpful, told me I had 2 cheque books last one was issued in 08 and I ordered a new one in early 09. Strange I thought I dont write that bmany cheques to be honest and decided I must have misplaced last book indoors somewhere (I certainly dont take it out anywhere as usualy use it as last resort to pay by post if who I am paying dont take debit cards). Anyway advisor came back and told me that, despite it going out of my account today he had managed to find out a bit more about it.
Apparantly it was Skycard who took £10 by cheque which they received from me on 4th June 09
I can be certain I haven't sent Skycard a cheque for £10 since I sent them £10 for SAR fee to get statements for claim of charges and this cheque was written from same cheque book on 22 August 2008 stub number was 0002 (not 00022) and I received the copies ages ago.
I have looked at my July statement from Skycard and it doesnt show any credit, but thinking about that if it was paid today it would show up on next months statement :o silly me!
Anyway the latest amounts I have ever sent sky is £1, which was 2 lots of Postal Orders for May and June and a £1 standing order from a different bank account. I will have to look it up again but I am pretty certain they already took the £10 for the SAR just before I received them inthe post.
I am in debt with Skycard and they are the worst of them in relation to their unwillingness to help.
Could they be trying to make me call them by using these tricks?
The thing that worries me most now is they know my 'secret bank account' number and if they which isnt exactly very full but more of an account where I put my 'pocket money' into so I can make sure I dont go overdrawn elsewhere or spend the bills money taken one lot without warning whats to say they wont continue?
What shold I do now?
Anyone been in same situation?
Thanks

Failure is only someone elses judgement.

Are you thinking that Skycard have somehow written themselves a cheque in your name?
If you didn't write the cheque then you didn't write the cheque. Your bank would need to look into it as if you'd lost your cheque book.
I would also phone Skycard and ask them to confirm if they have received a cheque payment from you recently to see what they say."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0
