My programe is Office Professional 2007.
How would I email an Excel spreadsheet. I right clicked the document and pressed 'send'. It went as an attachment but other person said that they couldn't open it.
What did I do wrong please?
Thanks for help.

Thanks very much for your help.
I'll give it a try.
Much appreciated.0 -
Office 2007 saves documents by default with an x on the end of the file extension. So that other people who do not have 2007 can open files, choose save as, and choose an version from the drop down list.0

Or if the person at the other end doesn't have Office 2007 - they could donload the free compatibility pack from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=941b3470-3ae9-4aee-8f43-c6bb74cd1466&displaylang=en - means they can open 2007 files in 2003..0
