How do I turn narrator off please?

As above really! I stupidly accessed the part that makes your laptop 'easier to use' - and switched on narrator. Now every time I power up I get narrator, I can switch it off but how do I get rid off it from start up please? I am very non-tekky, thank you.
Laptop - Amilo, Using Windows Vista.
