If they've deleted the Paypal account, could they get away with the money people have paid them?0 -
I guess that answers the question originally posed. The person is no longer a registered user.If they've deleted the Paypal account, could they get away with the money people have paid them?
If they had managed to withdraw the money (usually takes several days) then it may be possible if they also do a runner - but paypal would probably pursue them depending on how much was involved in total.
Buyers would not lose out as they are protected by ebay/paypal buyer protection.
Only buyers who paid by any means other than paypal would be left to their own devices to get their money back."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
