Advice on Credit Card Defaults

Apologies if this is not in the right place.
I have 2 credit card (unsecured) defaults around 4/5 years old (2005), i contacted Citizens advice at the time and i wrote letters eventually they accepted £1 payment per monthon each as i was made redundant (2 creditors) and i still in place today. Both are owed around £1,500 each. i still continue to pay this every month.
One is with natwest they didn't sell it off to a debt collection agency but the other was barclays who did sell it on twice its with Robinson Way & co.
i have a bank account with natwest so naturally i dont want to do anything that results in the closure of that account, althought i dont use it.
is there anything i can do to shift these debts i'm sick of them, no i dont have a job had difficulty for personal reasons back then and obviously with current climate hard to get a job.
Hoping someone can advise me on this.
Thanks in advance.
