  • if its attached, does the water run into your down pipes? If so 2 problems, a) moss blocking it, an b) fungacide getting into your water butts if any.

    No, fortunately, this does not happen, perhaps due to the very sharp angle. I will try to take a picture to show you. Also, the neighbour had new sofits and downpipes etc not long ago. I can understand him having block paving (the drive AND all garden area) as he is not fit to do gardening now. He always used to talk and joke with his daughter who does not understand of course but these days he is very quiet. It is sad.
