  • Do not use UKLRS!!!!!! Go straight to the land registry, not only is is a fraction of the price but their service is much better. As an anonymous employee of UKLRS I urge you all to go else where. ****SAVE YOUR MONEY, YOUR TIME AND STRESS LEVELS!!!!*****

You are not a very loyal employee :)
  • Phone No is 0870 4056020 An alternative is not listed sadly
I agree they are rubbish and they have ignored my complaint so need to take the matter further
    Hi
I have had terrible problems with UKLRS / landsearch.net
I wanted some Old docs listed as Copy Filed on the Title deed - but
as I had to download a form and then
send a cheque to the proper Land Registry site I decided to pay the extra and have them emailed by UKLRS.
Big mistake. The only sent one of the three listed docs. Then after repeated
emails said that they would order them. Then said they no longer existed.
I checked with Land Registry and they said they were on their computer.
Now UKLRS won't reply to my emails. There is no phone number.
Their parent company is Timewell plc which has a couple of listed addresses, but cannot get a phone no - well there is one but nobody answers.

DO NOT USE THEM - RUBBISH SERVICE - A CON

Any suggestions how to find a phone number without paying for a company search?
    Thanks
  • I wish I had checked here first as I have asked UKLRS for 2 searches and have followed their advice given in miniscule print at the bottom of the confirmation email to email to cancel. I hope that works or it will be Trading Standards for me too. The 08704056020 number is now not functioning and I cannot trace another number at all. They are part of Timewell plc, they say, and that looks very amateurish....selling pockets of woodland in Aberaeron and owning Wirral property plus a few holiday cottages. The moral is 'ALWAYS check here first!'

The best way I have found to deal with UKLRS and it's appalling customer service is to go straight to Trading Standards and get them on the case.

After several attempts to get my money back when they had decided to go mute on me about my request (that I had paid upfront for), Trading Standards have finally had my money returned to me in full.

I can't thank them enough. The people at Trading Standards in the Wirral are a really great gov body, rare accolade indeed!!!

Go to www. ripofftipoff.net (pls remove space) and use the Let us know link to enter the rip off complaints you have about UKLRS and Trading Standards will contact you.

    Good luck!

I wish I had read this first bbefore using UKLRS. Like many we used google and were tricked into thinking this was an officila site. We paid up front for two searches and received one having just found out the true cost from the Gov site.
Tried to stop the payement through the credit card company having only received half the service, but due to terms and conditions the card company would'nt take it any further.
Will now try trading standards as all bad internet companies/services never have contact tel numbers only PO boxes and duff email address's.

Go to "WHOIS" and find out who is behind UKLRS.co.uk then go to companies house web search and find a director then go to 192.com and you will find an address no number available, then you go to google earth for the address and street view and you will see a overgrown looking garden I suspect its a "dead drop". Sorry to use spy talk but thats the type of fraudster we are up against.
