Asda Credit Card 1p off fuel offer COMPLAINT

Hi,

I signed up for an Asda Credit card because of the 1p off fuel (2p when I signed). After checking my bill I found out I wasn't seeing the reduction.
On e-mailing I was told that the reduction should occur at the pump.
I never had a reduction at the pump. Has anyone else had the same problem?

I've made a complaint but they seem to think I should take all my receipts into store to get this sorted out.

Thanks for any help/advice you can give.

Suzanne

You would never have seen a reduction on the pump itself, but assuming the pump said that you had spent £10.00 if you had requested a credit card receipt it would have shown

    Petrol £10.00

Asda CC Discount £00.10/£00.20 (depending on whether it was during the 2p a litre period or 1p a litre period)

    Balance £9.90/£9.80

and it would have been the £9.90/£9.80 that would have shown up on your Credit card statement.
